You don't want this so, what you need to do is to get a damp rag. Then, thoroughly wet the surfaces of the wood and sit it aside to dry. If you don't already have one, get one with the brass ring that keeps the screw centered in the barrel. Screw it in and pull it. It is a great gun however it is very difficult to cock. There is an adjustment screw in the front of the grip. With it completely out it is still a little heavy to cock.
